【摘要】:Thisstandarddealswithallsignificanthazardsrelevanttodryersandovens,inwhichflammablesubstancesarereleased,whentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeclause4).1Thisstandardisapplicabletodryers,ovensandotherevaporatingequipmentusedinthepre-treatment,printing,coatingand/orimpregnatingprocessesofsurfacesand/ormaterials.Thisstandardgivestherequirementsforthedesignofsuchequipmentwhichinthecourseofdryingand/orcuringreleaseflammablesubstances,predominantlyvolatileorganiccompounds(VOC's).Thisstandarddetailsallanticipatedsignificanthazardsassociatedwiththeequipment(listedinclause4)andspecifiestheappropriatesafetyrequirements(listedinclause5)tobemetbythemanufacturertoensurethesafetyofpersonsandpropertyduringcommissioning,start-up,operation,shut-downandmaintenance.2Thisstandardisnotapplicableto-portableheatersusedfordrying,-pharmaceuticalandfooddryingprocesses,-combinedbooths(seeprEN13355),-solventrecoverysystems.3Fordryers,ovensandotherevaporatingequipmentwhichdonotinanycircumstanceshaveaconcentrationofflammablesubstances(VOC)exceeding3%LELcompliancewithEN746-1andEN746-2canbeusedasanalternativetothisstandard.4Thisstandardappliestodryers,ovensandotherevaporatingequipmentinwhichflammablesubstancesarereleased,whicharemanufacturedafterthedateofissueofthisstandard.
