【摘要】:ThisstandarddefinesstandardpracticesforsynthesizingbinarydigitalelectroniccircuitsfromVHDLsourcecode.Itincludesthefollowing:a)ThehardwareinterpretationofvaluesbelongingtotheBITandBOOLEANtypesdefinedbyIEEEStd1076-1993landtotheSTD-ULOGICtypedefinedbyIEEEStd1164-1993.b)Afunction(STDMATCH)thatprovides"don'tcare"or"wildcard"testingofvaluesbasedontheSTD-ULOGICtype.c)Standardfunctionsforrepresentingsensitivitytotheedgeofasignal.d)Twopackagesthatdefinevectortypesforrepresentingsignedandunsignedarithmeticvalues,andthatdefinearithmetic,shift,andtypeconversionoperationsonthosetypes.ThisstandardisdesignedforusewithIEEEStd1076-1993.Modificationsthatmaybemadetothepackagesforusewiththepreviousedition,IEEEStd1076-1987,aredescribedin7.2.
